Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform
dockside and repairs including but not limited to the following base
items: 1) Clean and Inspect Diesel Fuel and Lube Oil Tanks, 2) Clean,
Inspect, and Disinfect Potable Water Tanks, 3) Overhaul Starboard
Clutch Assembly, 4) Clean and Inspect Heat Exchangers, 5) Overhaul
Exhaust Ventilation Fans, 6) Preserve Antennas and Antenna Foundations,
7) Renew Studs and Clamps on Mast, 8) Clean Galley, Scullery, and
Laundry Ventilation Systems, 9) Renew, Overhaul and Test Valves, 10)
Inspect and Test Air Receivers, 11) Inspect and Overhaul
Electro-Hydraulic Steering System, 12) Overhaul Warping Capstan, 13)
Overhaul Hydraulic Pump Unit, 14) Clean, Inspect, and Preserve Sewage
and Gray Water Collection Tanks, 15) Erect Staging, 16) Overhaul
ammunition Hoist and Preserve Hoist Shaft, and 17) Provide Temporary
Logistics, etc. Option items include but are not limited to the
following: 1) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics, and 2) Composite
Labor Rate, etc. Vessel's homeport is Miami Beach, Florida. Vessel
availability schedule will be 1 June 1999, for 54 days. Place of
performance is restricted to Vessel's Homeport. Vessel is a 210-foot
Medium Endurance Cutter. All reference documents are available for
viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA. A
non-refundable charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a certified
check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested
drawings. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit
bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 20 November 1998. All responsible sources may submit
a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
