The US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to modify the AH-64D aircraft produced in Lot 2 of the Boeing Company Multi Year 1 contract to the configuration of the Lot 3 aircraft currently being produced. This effort includes upgrading the TADS Electronic Unit (TEU) from the -R1 to the -R2 version, and changing the LEU to incorporate Alternate Laser Code (ALC) capability.
