The work will consists of the following approximate quantities: Provide and stockpile material near Stoney Point Archeological Site as directed by Contracting Officer's representative for the Big Bend Project, Fort Thompson, South Dakota. The successful contractor will control operations during production of materials so as to insure that the materials delivered meet all specification requirements. The Contractor will perform all sampling and testing required for quality control in accordance with specifications and be responsible for operating all quarries and other material sources, and for conditioning the area after operations are complete in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Materials will be measured by weighing on a public scale and weigh bill for each load delivered will be submitted for authorization of payment. Materials will be paid at a price per ton, not to exceed the specified tonage of 3,000 tons riprap, 1,400 tons spalls, 500 crushed rock. Delivery of all items must be made by 31 August 1999.
