This sources-sought synopsis corrects and updates a previous synopsis posted in CBDNet 6 January 1999. Purchase Request & Commitment Number W67MY8-8236-4001 is corrected to W67HY8-8236-4001. Additional small businesses are sought to submit proposals to provide non-personal services for U. S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, located in a remote area 90 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah. The contractor shall provide Engineering and Real Property/Estate Management support services. The contractor shall operate Transient Quarters and Unaccompanied Personnel Housing units. The contractor shall perform all routine maintenance, needed modification and breakdown repairs on all assigned military vehicles and equipment. The contractor shall operate the Prototype and Metal Fabrication shop. The contractor shall provide clerical and administrative services in support of the Equipment Management and Property Book Offices. The contractor shall provide services in support of the installation Stock Record account (SRA and accountable Property Book Officer (APO). The contractor shall provide transportation service at Dugway proving Ground in support of the Installation Travel Officer (ITO). Government employees are currently performing these functions. The solicitation will be issued under the authority of OMB Circular A76, and award will be subject to the cost comparison, reviews and approvals required by the Circular and implementing regulations. Small businesses will be expected to demonstrate experience in all areas and good past performance. The award will not be split.
