Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Brecksville, Ohio is
conducting a market survey seeking sources to procure a Telemetry
Monitoring System. A computer based telemetry monitoring system with
customized patient record file, report generation capabilities,
archiving, full disclosure, arrhythmia detection with associated
alarms, large color coded displays, on screen operational directions.
This monitoring system is designed specifically for the cardiopulmonary
rehabilitation application. It is comprised of hardware and software.
Hardware shall include: Central Control Unit; Monitor; Telemetry
Receiver Unit; ECG Transmitter. Software shall include: daily exercise;
reports; database. System shall include free software updates for the
life of the system; two (2) day initial installation and training; two
(2) operator and service manuals; Year 2000 Compliant; twenty four
(24) month warranty on parts and labor. Interested parties shall also
submit options, i.e., printer;workstation; slave monitor; patient kits,
additional channels, etc. This is not a request for proposals and there
is no solicitation available. Information received may be used to
develop specifications for competitive bidding purposes. Interested
parties may respond by identifying their capabilities to provide the
above mentioned equipment to include descriptive and pricing.
