Contractor pickup times will be twice daily and with 24 hour advance notice may be required to pick up and process mail on Saturday, Sunday and Federal Holidays. Contractor will be required to follow strict Customer Control Record requirements. Contractor will assume responsibility for the care and control of mail picked up from time of receipt to time of delivery to USPS. A contingency/back up plan will be required for mail equipment and motor vehicle malfunctions/breakdowns to ensure mail is processed within the delivery time requirements.
