The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, Detachment Hampton Roads, intends to issue a solicitation to provide audiovisual (AV) and training services at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Instructional Design Center, Portsmouth, VA. This procurement is being conducted under Commercial Activity OMB A-76 cost comparison guidelines. If government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. Services to include: training material development; training lesson plan development; courseware; tests; training consultant services; training delivery; mock-up design, development and construction; photographic services; video and audio production services; multimedia and computer based training development and production; audiovisual presentation support services; graphic design and illustrations; delivery and presentation of training on submarine watertight hatches and doors, and ship propellers; writing and editing services; maintaining Norfolk Naval Shipyard InstructionalDesign Center (SIDC) library; quota control functions for a variety of schools for military personnel; and miscellaneous services as identified in the SOW.
