Y -- CONSTRUCT SEWAGE LAGOON SOL IFB 249-0027 DUE 032699 POC Roberto Flores, Contract Specialist, (214) 767-5032 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office plans to issue Solicitation IFB 249-0027 for the construction of an effluent holding pond for the wastewater treatment plant at the Federal Correctional Institution in Three Rivers, Texas. The general scope of work includes site clearing and earthwork to construct an effluent holding pond; construction of an effluent pump station; construction of an irrigation pump station and intake structure; furnishing and installing electrical power supply system; dewatering existing effluent holding pond; removal and disposal of approximately 7,000 cubic yards of dried sludge and sediment from existing effluent holding pond; furnishing laboratory and contractor testing services; and, storm water pollution prevention. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the work. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about February 17, 1999 with an anticipated bid opening date of March 26, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. in the front lobby of the Federal Correctional Institution in Three Rivers, Texas.
