Construct a 4440 square meter masonry/steel combined-arms tactical, close combat training facility to house 39 fixed training modules to be provided by others. Facility includes administrative offices, conference rooms, technical library, audio-visual equipment, computer networking and control rooms, mud room, friendly and opposing forces work areas, 2700 square meter simulator bay, storage, spare parts, and maintenance areas, restrooms, trainee briefing rooms, and mechanical space. Work includes site work and supporting utilities. Site improvements include construction of a 150-space asphalt parking lot, 3341 square meter mobile equipment portland cement hardstand, drainage improvements, exterior pole-mounted lighting, fencing, side walks and landscaping. Utilities improvements include water, gas, telecommunications, and power system extensions. AVAILABILITY: This solicitation may be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD ROM only. EBS disks will be available on or about 5 Feb 99 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available. EBS disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted.
