66 -- W2 CABLE MODIFICATIONS SOL N68335-99-Q-0107 DUE 021799 POC Ms. Dawn Chartier, Code 2132DC, Mailstop B129-2, (732) 323-2933 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Test Systems Associates, Incorporated (TSAI) to procure 21 W2 (modified) cables in support of their current Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Test Program Set (TPS) development contract. TSAI will be required to design, develop, fabricate and test the cables. As the designer, developer and manufacturer of the original cable and the TPS, TSAI is the only known company capable of making the necessary modifications to the current cable configuration to support the TPS. The Government does not own data, drawings or technical specifications for this equipment. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
