The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Supply & Service Requirements Type Contract for dishwashing detergents/cleaning supplies & no cost preventative maintenance of the following dishwashing machines: Insinger model 86-2 (4 EA), Insinger model 86-3 (1 EA), Hobart model CH5-86A (1 EA). Contract Specialist L. ALan Holder. This solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number for for the Request for Proposal is DABT59-99-R-0001. Subject RFP is scheduled for release on or about 16 FEB 99 with proposals due 14 days thereafter. The solicitation and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-09. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The standard industrial classification is 5087 and applies to businesses with less than 100 employees. Summary: Fort Lee has a requirement for various dishwashing supplies and other cleaning supplies with routine/preventative maintenance of the dishwashing machines listed above to be provided at no cost. This is a Best Value solicitation. Award will be made on an All or None basis. Each offerors proposal will be evaluated in the following areas: Technical Capability -- quality/compatability of products offered, technical qualifications of key personnel, past performance and price.
