The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Atlantic Marine Center, Norfolk, Virginia has a requirement for Fuel No. 2-D, DFM, ND, or Marine Gas Oil in accordance with Defense Fuel Supply Center Specifications for Commercial Marine Gas Oil for Ships Bunkers, October 1996, revised, for delivery, FOB Destination, to the NOAA Ship RON BROWN by barge or pipeline in Male, Maldives. Two deliveries are required. The first delivery to be on or about March 2 or 3, 1999, with an estimated quantity of 294 MT (90,000 U.S. gallons). The second delivery to be on or about March 24 or 25, 1999, with an estimated quantity 310 MT (95,000 U.S. gallons). Proposed price per metric ton shall include all applicable barge or pipeline charges. . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
