ARCHITECT-ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE U. S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

(503) 231-6188 Indefinite Quantity Contract on an as-needed
basis for multi-disciplinary architect-engineer services in the states
of California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington for
construction, maintenance and/or rehabilitation of facilities on
National Fish Hatcheries, National Wildlife Refuges, and other U. S.
Fish and Wildlife Service field stations. The scope of such services
will be primarily related to (1) the preparation of planning reports
and/or documents, (2) preparation of plans, specifications, bidding
schedules and cost estimates, (3) computer-aided drafting services
and/or (4) construction management services. The contractual period
will be from date of contract award to September 30, 1999, with option
to extend for four additional one- year periods. The total annual
amount for this project shall not exceed $500,000. Multiple awards may
be made for these services. Individually negotiated work orders will
be issued for each project. The minimum work order amount shall be
$5,000.00 and the maximum work order amount shall be $100,000.00. Firms
which possess the qualifications to perform the services described
including civil, mechanical, geotechnical, environmental, electrical,
structural, architectural, landscape architecture, estimating,
specification writing, computer-aided drafting and construction
management capabilities; are invited to submit a completed, current SF
255 "Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for
Specific Project," and a completed current SF Form 254
Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire" for each of its
proposed consultants, to the address shown above. Interested firms
with more than one office must indicate on their SF 255 the staffing
composition of the office in which the work will be performed. Indicate
solicitation number in block 2b of the SF 255. The completed SF 255
should indicate the specific personnel from the responding firm and all
consultants expected to do the work on this contract, with resumes for
each, professional registrations by state, and experience in this type
of work over the past five (5) years. Submittals will be evaluated
based on the following criteria: (1) professional qualifications of
individuals listed to perform under the contract, including individual
licenses and experience; (2) specific facts demonstrating the firm's
familiarity with local conditions having possible effects on scheduling
costs, and complexity of contractual procedures on a project; (3)
specific performance records on previous architect/engineering work
performed for the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, other federal, state
and local government agencies, and private industry illustrating the
quality of the firm's work and the firm's ability to meet performance
schedules and budgets; (4) specific type and amount of applicable field
and office equipment available for work under this contract; and (5)
location in the general geographical area of the projects and knowledge
of the localities of projects. This is not a request for proposal.
