Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Outreach/Admissions and Placement of youth for the Job Corps program in the State of Oregon. Job Corps is a program which provides education, vocational, avocational and support services to youth 16 through 24 years of age in residential and non-residential settings. RFP No. JC-RX-98-03 is for the recruitment and assignment of 1,465 youth; 957 males and 508 females from the State of Oregon annually into the Job Corps Program. Placement services shall be provided to 1,319 youth returning to the State of Oregon, into employment, school, or the military. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2001, plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. RFP No. JC-RX-98-03 will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html on or about February 16, 1999, and will utilize oral presentations in lieu of a written technical proposal and award fee. The Pre-proposal conference will be held on February 25, 1999, at 9:00 A.M., local time, in the 24th floor conference room of the 1111 Third Avenue Building, Seattle, Washington 98101-3212.
