Requirement Description: The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is seeking contractors to provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to host Teacher workshops at various locations throughout the United States in support of the GLOBE Program Teacher Workshops. The GLOBE Program is a hands-on environmental science and education program that nites students, educators, and scientists from around the world in studying the global environment. Workshops are to be held in PA, SC, FL and CA for October and November1999 with three (3) options for future workshops during the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2000. The Government anticipates making multiple awards through the use of full and open competition utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the above described services. Firm-fixed priced awards will be made based on a best value basis, giving due consideration to technical and cost factors. All responsible sources are invited to submit proposals in writing, signed by an authorized individual of the company. The Government will not accept electronic, telegraphic, facsimile or telephonic proposals.
