PRODUCTS The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a sole-source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Sony Electronics, Inc. of Lanham, MD for the acquisition of Sony BetaCam SX Studio Editing VTR Model #DNW-A75, 3 each; and, Rack Mounts for VTRs Model #RMM-111, 3 each. Delivery is to be made to the Social Security Administration c/o Health Care Finance Administration, 7500 Security Blvd, Baltimore, MD. Sony Electronics, Inc. if the only vendor which can provide the required equipment which is compatible with existing equipment and editing suites so that the machines will interface with the ACE Switcher, the Sony DVX Digital Camera. This equipment is only available through Sony and is not available through dealers or distributors. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation.
