This solicitation is subject to FAR Clause 52.213-18, Availability of Funds. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to clean and line water mains. The work includes the cleaning and cement mortar lining of existing unlined 6, 8, and 12 inch water lines. All existing gate valves shall be replaced with new valves and designated fire hydrants, pipe sections and fittings shall be replaced. Also included are new water services to selected buildings with pressure reducing valves and meters installed in pits. A temporary by-pass piping system shall be provided. Surfaces damages by the work shall be restored. Incidental related work is also included.
