This Procurement, which was published in the CBD on 24 Dec 98, is hereby amended to delete the work associated with the maintenance dredging of the Arecibo Harbor. The magnitude of construction for this project is now $500,000. to $1,000,000. Work includes maintenance and construction dredging of approximately 68,000 cubic yards of material from Entrance Channel, Turning Basin and Extension to a required depth of 9-feet plus 2-foot allowable overdepth; Settling Basin to a required depth of 20-feet plus 2-foot allowable overdepth; and, Fillet Area to a required depth of 6-feet plus 2-foot allowable overdepth. Aguadilla beach disposal area begins approximately 1,000 feet south of Harbor and extends approximately 4,700 feet. Work also includes Turbidity and Structure Protection Monitoring. Cultural Resource No-Work Zones are located within Aguadilla Harbor work area. Invitation DACW17-99-B-0006 will be issued on or about 16 Feb 99 and opened on or about 18 Mar 99.
