Supply and deliver ten (10) Air Attack Kits to the FS, National Interagency Fire Center. Air Attack Kits are used in Government-contracted light fixed-wing aircraft to provide VHF-FM radio communication. The Air Attack Kits should be a simple design with ease of use and the ability to operate safely in most light fixed-wing aircraft. The Air Attack Kits must be laid out and connected so that only limited ATGS operator setup instructions will be required for complete operation. Two types of equipment mounting methods are acceptable: slip-in or remote. Either type of kit shall meet FAA AC 43.13-2A for secure mounting, while in flight, and shall not interfere with the safe operation of the aircraft.
