is a synopsis of a requirement for commercial services prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemental with
additional information included in the notice. A written solicitation
will be issued upon request. This is a request for quotation (RFQ)
number DTCG80-99-Q-3FA793. This solicitation document will incorporate
provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-09. The standard industrial classification code is 7699
and the size standard is $5.09. The requirement is for the following:
Contractor to provide all labor and materials to complete the
preservation of the forward and after gray water collection tanks such
that one is operational throughout the completion of work aboard the
USCGC TAHOMA (WMEC 908). All work shall be performed at One State Pier,
New Bedford, MA. Performance period is 15 March to 17 April 1999.
Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a
contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror
whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the
government, price and other factors considered. The following factors
shall be used to evaluate offer: Price, Required Delivery Date. The
following FAR Clauses will apply to this solicitation: 52.219-6 Notice
of Total Small Business Set-Aside. Offers are due on February 18,
