Requirements Contract for Technical Services and Parts to Upgrade, Modify, and Expand Navy Public Works Center (PWC), Utilities Department's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System, Oahu, Hawaii. The Contractor shall provide all necessary technical services, parts, and materials (including software), to Government personnel upgrading, modifying, and expanding one of the Navy Public Works Center (PWC), Utilities Department's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System on Oahu, Hawaii. SIC Code 7379 applies. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only HSQ Technology, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, since the communication protocol is uniquely integrated with HSQ's specialized remote terminal unit. Firms that have the capability to perform the above work should notify us within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The contract term will be a base period of twelve months plus four one-year options. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months.
