Powell, Contracting Officer, (202) 324-3318 The Federal Bureau of Investigation, New Orleans, Louisiana Division has a need for a firm-fixed price contract for Armed Security Guard Services on an as needed basis. The requirement is to provide physical security for its construction site at 2901 Leon C. Simon Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana, seven days a week, for the period of 6:00 PM through 6:00 AM, including holidays. The minimum staffing requirement shall be at least two guards. The contract term shall be from date of award fro a 12 month period. A site survey will be conducted, however, the date and time will be provided in the solicitation package. All offerors shall be licensed for operation in the State of Louisiana. Required specifications for the security services shall include, but are not limited to, prevention patrols of job site to prevent graffiti, vandalism, theft and unauthorized access. Guard shall be armed for self protection and protection of Government property. The employment requirements include, but are not limited to, proper current licenses, certifications, physical and mental attributes necessary for the safe use of firearms. Armed guards must be proficient in the use of firearms. Guards will not have arrest or apprehension authority other than that conveyed to an individual; an off duty state police officer; and/or an off duty local police officer under state law.
