This acquisition is for engineering and technical services to ensure successful operation and effectiveness of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) in current and future demonstration scenarios. The services under this contract will include follow-on support of the SAR on the Medium Altitude Endurance (MAE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Predator System. Services will also be provided for the Synthetic Aperture Radar Target Recognition and Location System (STARLOS), Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV)(close and short ranges) and the Multi-Sensor TestBed (MSTB) Programs. Specifically, this acquisition will procure all necessary engineering/technical support, configuration control, calibration/alignment, engineering field services, field guidance support, system demonstration support, hardware/software improvements and logistics for various Tactical Endurance Synthetic Aperture Radar (TESAR) Programs. Negotiations with Northrop Grumman Corporation of Baltimore, Maryland, the developer and current manufacturer of the SAR, are anticipated.
