The contractor shall provide the government services including essential repair, support, calibration and repackage to restore the AN/ARS-6(V) and the components to serviceable condition which is part of the AN/AYD-1 Personnel Locator System. The software must be updated to the same performance level as the AN/ARS-6(V). The item must be compatible with other associated aircraft equipment. The service will for the Army, Navy and Air Force. There are modules in which the government does not posses. The modules are CHRCMDAT.FTN, TORCM.FTN, RNGMATH.FTN and STGMATH.FTN. There are numerous configurations of this system which involves data, the government does not possess this information. The contractor must be able to develop maintenance capability to reverse engineering from a sample AN/ARS-6. The contractor must be able to provide reverse engineering. The contractor shall submit their technical proposal including all supporting documentation to support the item and the components and shall be submitted directly to the contracting officer.
