Commander, Navy Recruiting Command (Code 00T) is seeking business sources offering Sales and Marketing Training for Navy Recruiters and Managers. No solicitation currently exits. This synopsis for for information and planning purposes only. Training topics should include techniques in market identification and penetration, generating awareness within the market, and conduct of a sales interview leading towards the recruitment of young men and women to active military service. The training will be used as initial training for new members of the Recruiting Command at all levels, and refresher training for Direct salesmen and Direct Sales supervisors. Specifically: Level 1) Executive level sales and marketing management (our Commanders of 31 regional Districts, minimal sales experience); Level 2) Direct Sales supervisors (our small-region supervisors, these individuals have significant recruiting experience), and Level 3) Direct salesmen, initial and refresher. (our Navy Recruiters (Officer and Enlisted) and Classifiers, minimal sales experience). Level 1 training provided for approximately 10-15 persons per year, preferably at an off-site location (hotel or conference center) in a location to be specified. Level 2 and 3 training would be provided to about 1500-2000 sales supervisors and direct salesmen per year. Training will be conducted by a combination of commercial instructors and military instructors (who will be trained by the contractor to utilize contractor provided materials) and will be presented in the existing Navy Recruiting training facility in Pensacola, FL. Refresher training will be presented by military instructors in a training facility provided by the Navy in Great Lakes, Illinois. The initial contract will be for level 1 training only, potentially building to levels 2 and 3 for standardization of content. Length of sales and marketing training is not specified; however, anticipated length is 1-2 weeks for level 1, and 3-5 weeks for levels 2 or 3.
