Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the replacement of North/South Wells at McChord AFB, Washington. Work includes 1) Drill/install two new water supply wells; 2) Provide/install two new well houses with structural masonry walls, cast-in-place concrete foundation and slab on grade, wood framed gable roof with metal roofing and asphalt paving around buildings; 3) Provide/install two new water supply pumps, piping, Sodium Hypochlorine Generation Equipment and associated mechanical/electrical controls; 4) Provide/install power and control for two new wells. The magnitude of this construction is between $500,000 and $l,000,000. Solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures on or about 25 Feb 99 with a closing date on or about 30 Mar 99.
