Action Target or Equal Trap must cover impact area at indoor range 60
' wide, 8 ' high, no more than 15 ' deep (to include maintenance
access) Minimum life expectancy of 15 years before replacement of
impact plates Due to the loss of DRMO services on this base, we will
require extra collection units to preclude range shutdown, we
anticipate longer turn around time for proper disposal of hazardous
waste and return of containers. Must have integral dust collection unit
Must be compatible with the existing air circulation system Quotation
must include instruction of filter changes Provision for on-hand
replacement filters included Cost estimates for recurring maintenance
should be included in contract Other considerations: Bullet trap must
be capable of withstanding 40,000 rounds per point/per year, with
impact confined mainly to 6 square foot area behind target, without
maintenance down-time Must have access to rear of trap for clean-up and
safety inspections Because it is located in an historical building,
modifications to structure are limited, suggest access to rear of trap
be from front left with entrance protected by baffle. The request for
quotes has been posted on Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data
Interchange. If you do not have access to EC/EDI please contact
Chiretta BoClair at the number above or email request to the address
below. The RFQ is 100% set aside for small business. Posted 02/04/99
