operating in three specific modes known as Continuous A-to D (CAD),
Burst A -- to D(BAD), and Timedbase Digitize (TBD). Shall be equipped
with 512 Megabytes of memory enabling a CAD-mode capture time of
approximately 25 seconds at 20-MHz sample rate to a Sun Computer System
via Sun-Bus. Digital data output shall be in the Martes format, with
any data unpacking and reformatting transparent to the user. The units
shall be equipped with a hardware controller which emulates the
control function of an analog video disk for instrumentation recording.
All hardware and software necessary to successful operation of units
including computer I/O card(s) and control/data cabling are to be
provided. Contractor shall provide installation in designated locations
at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. NAIC will provide analog cabling and the
associated Sun Workstation. This device must include a full-featured
hardware controller capable of record/playback operation independently
of a computer. The hardware controller is unique to the BSI design..
This item is sole source to Balogh-Schonhofer Inc. P/N: Model
100/12-01-0512-SBUS-OKTELFP-TCPX-IITT. It will enable retention of an
essential Signal Analysis "Stop-Action"capability which would otherwise
be lost due to impending analog equipment failure. Award will be made
only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets
qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR
clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office
where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification
requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Contractor
