A -- FOLLOW-ON EXCITE PROGRAM SUPPORT SOL NMA202-99-F-0067 DUE 021999 POC Brian Wolfe, Contracting Officer, 301/227-7825, wolfeb@nima.mil IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii) and (iii), the Government intends to procure on a sole source basis from SSDS, Inc. 1,640 hours of continuing interim support to perform cross-platform system integration, glue code development and collaboration for NIMA's Excite program which was performed under a SSDS subcontract on a predecessor effort. Award is anticipated on or before 19 February 1999. SSDS, Inc.'s system-unique integration and collaboration experience, requisite clearance and specialized knowledge of the system configuration is such that award to any other source would result in duplication of costs that are not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. There is no formal solicitation package available, this notice is simply an announcement of the Government's intent, not a request for proposals.
