Hull characteristics and work to be performed for the two YC barges are: 1) (YC 1329) 110 foot x 32 foot x 9 foot with a draft of 2 1/2 feet. Non destructive testing of the A-frame structure. Check for cracks in weldments, stress fractures and any other structural deformities. Install new cable on hydraulic winch and pre-tension to 10,000lbs. Removal of a section of bulwarks. Sand balst and preserve ordnance locker. Replace zinc anodes. High pressure wash and re-paint underwater hull.
