Each facility is 210,000 Square Feet (SF) with a capacity to house and train 1000 people on three (3) floors. Kitchen and dining facilities will be redone in both buildings. HVAC, electric, fire protection, and HTRW abatement are to be upgraded to current standards. Bids from large business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a Subcontracting plan. Failure to submit a Subcontracting Plan and Pre-Award Information at time of bid opening may result in rejection of bid. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to placed with the following: Small Business 61.2%; Small Disadvantaged Business 9.1%; Women-Owned Small Business 4.5%; and HBCU/MI 9.4%.
