The building is eight (8) stories high, approximately 100,000 square feet of finished office space and supports approximately 400 employees. The building also includes approximately 25 underground parking spaces. Required services will include preventative maintenance and repairs (parking garage, roof, chillers, hot water, elevators, emergency generator, mechanical systems, etc.) Janitorial services, trash and hazardous waste removal, recycling services, 24 hour manned security, pest control, landscaping, snow removal and water treatment. Proposed personnel will be required to pass a background check before they are given access to the building. Offerors are encouraged to visit the building located at 400 First Street NW, Washington, DC by contacting contracting officer to set up an appointment. Visits will be by appointment only! Period of performance is date of award through five (5) years thereafter. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and make award on an all or none basis to the offeror offering the best value to the government.
