USPFO for Tennessee has a requirement for 20 each oil storage tanks to
store bulk used motor oil. The tanks must be able to hold at least 500
gallons of liquid, no more than 660 gallons. Be of a type specifically
designed to hold bulk petroleum (cylindrical shape preferred).
Designed to be kept outside, be corrosion resistant (if steel it must
be at least 12 gauge and have at least two coats of protective coating
with a minimum of 6 mils in aggregate on all exterior portions of the
tanks, epoxy preferred). Have an integral lockable pouring funnel.
Have an integral tank liner. Be vented and allow for overfill. Have a
liquid level gauge. These are to be delivered to 19 locations across
the state of Tennessee and 1 location in Ft Campbell, KY. The
solicitation will be available February 19, 1999 and can be obtained by
