The National Weather Service is implementing a reliability improvement project for the Backswing Diode Stack Assembly within the NEXRAD Weather Surveillance Radar Transmitter subsystem. This project equalizes the voltage distributed across the four diodes in the stack via a voltage equalization circuit card assembly. The contract is for the manufacture of these specialized circuit card assemblies and associated ground cables for deployment to all NEXRAD sites.
