The contractor, will be responsible for : 1. Coral Species and Ecosystem Conservation project, 2. International Trade in Coral Species (in cooperation with CITES and NFWF), 3. U.S. Coral Reef Task Force working groups, 4. CITES significant trade studies for marine invertebrates and fishes. These actions will result in progress toward the understanding of the threats to coral reefs worldwide, and the development of strategies for the conservation, protection and sustainable development of coral reefs.
