We are soliciting sponsorship or in-kind donations for the 4th of July, Red, White, & Blue Golf Tournament to be held at the Eagleglen Golf Course on Elmendorf Air Force Base (AFB) on the 4th of July 1999. The event will be open to all base personnel as well as the civilian community. We average approximately 32,000 rounds of golf per year and host approximately 150 tournaments per season at our course. We are seeking sponsorship in the following forms. Door prizes and grand prizes such as airline tickets, trips outings, excursions, gift certificates, and services from the local businesses and the surrounding community. We are also seeking promotional giveaways such as golf bags and other golf related items. We are also seeking hole in one sponsors and tee prize gifts such as tees, divot repair tools, golf balls towels, etc. Also needed are beverage donations for approximately 200 participants. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. Sponsors may set up boothes and/or display banners at the event. Representation from the sponsors would be accepted and encouraged. We will accept all or part sponsorship/donation for this event. More than one sponsorship/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation may be accepted no later than 21 June 1999.
