This notice is a combined solicitation/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The purpose of this procurement is to remove the existing 15 ton multi-zone Air Conditioning unit at building N240 and install a new 15 ton fully operational unit in its place. Work will include installation of an A/C equipment curb and roof repair. Copies of the Performance Work Statement, Drawings, and NASA Construction Specifications for this job are available by written request to Michael J. McIntyre, FAX:(650)604-7354. Last date to request this package is 2/25/99. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-10. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 7699 and $5.017M, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA Ames Research Center is required within 90 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
