The unit is located in the Northeast corner of the room leaving very little service area on the East side of the unit. An overhaul of the motor and bearings cannot be performed unless the unit is moved or access is obtained through the office space adjacent to the computer room. Moving the unit will result in unacceptable down time for the unit. Cutting an access hole through the wall will require relocating one person and the built-in office furniture. Due to the age of the unit and the amount of disruption that would be caused by the temporary repairs, the goal of this project is to replace the unit. Contractor shall provide a one year warranty.
