Vegetative Management(herbicide application) procurements utilized by the Kansas City District Corps of Engineers emcompass the herbicide treatment of gaurdrails, road shoulders, fences, etc. Procurements will vary considerable in the amount of herbicide treatment, timing, weather and other requirements. Areas, acreages, and number of applications for this procurement are shown in Attachment 1. The contractors General duties and responsibilities for servicing these facilities are stated in the Work Standard. Because the Work Standard has been prepared for all Vegetative Management Procurements, it will contain specifications for services that may not be included in this procurement. Additional duties(if any) pertaining to this procurement will be specified under ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS, which follows the work standard. The proposed contract shall be a firm fixed price service type contract and shall be for one(1) basic year with four(4) one year options, if excercised by the Government.
