The estimated price range is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The tentative date for issuance of the invitation for bids is March 5, 1999, with a tentative bid due date of April 5, 1999. The construction completion time is 30 calendar days with an anticipated notice to proceed date of May 5, 1999. Requests for the invitation for bids should be received by February 26, 1999. This is 100% set aside for small business. The work shall include, but is not limited to: supplying all labor, materials, and equipment needed to install a fire protection automatic wet sprinkler system for approximately 12,050 square feet of first floor area and 996 square feet of basement area. All work is to be completed in accordance with the standards specified in the statement of work. The work will be completed within the confines of a federal prison and security issues will be addressed and followed. The contractor will be briefed on security issues and regulations.
