The work consists of construction services for repairs, renovations,
and construction in Honduras. The proposed contract will be an
Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract including a
base year and three option years, each year with a maximum value of
$1.5M for a total contract value of $6M. Individual task orders under
the contract will range from $80,000.00 to $1M. Two (2) contracts may
be awarded on this solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be held
for this solicitation in Honduras at a date to be determined later.
Prospective bidders and Plans/Dodge Rooms interested in receiving one
free paper copy of this solicitation must include the firm's physical
address, telephone and facsimile numbers and name of point of contact
(to facilitate any overnight mailing required) and be addressed to:

Refer to document number in request. Prime Contractors proposing under
this solicitation must be U.S. Firms, Honduran Firms, or Joint
Ventures between U.S. and Honduran Firms. In country contractors may
obtain plans and specifications at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Honduras, US Embassy, Avienda La Paz, Unit 2934, Tegucigalpa, DC,
Honduras. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other normal documents required
for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall
be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents
will not be allowed. For this job, a small business is defined as
having average annual receipts of less than $17,000,000.00 for the past
three years (SIC 1542). Effective 1 July 1998, firms interested in
construction contracts with the Mobile District Corps of Engineers,
must have "Internet Access". Don't be left out, get it soon. For
