Existing utilities (electric, sanitary sewer, telephone, and water) within the project limits will be relocated and replaced under this contract, with services maintained during construction. Existing roads intersecting the project will be regraded and paved. Work also includes the construction of a catchment basin with soil nailed walls just upstream of the culvert. The entrance channel into the catchment basin will be a reinforced cast-in-place concrete U-frame, which will include three vertical drops. Also, included in the work is approximately 350 feet of gabion lined channel at the upstream limit of the project. Magnitude of construction is between between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
