The Government intends to procure the following requirement NSN; 3110-01-164-8251, PN: 406-310-405-101, Quantity 158 Each, applicable to the OH-58D Aircraft. The procurement is limited to Bell Helicopter Textron, 600 Hurst Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76101 and Rexnord Corporation, Bearing OPN, 2400 Curtiss St., Downers Grove, IL 60515-4307. F.O.B. Destination with deliveries to Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX, all 158 assets shall be delivered 180 days after receipt of order. Acquire, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DOD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from others sources, nor qualification testing of another part, not use of a second source part in the intended application. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1 ). The proposed contractual action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority cited states only a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1.
