U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District is searching for
contractors who can provide packaged potable drinking water during
natural disaster situations through a commercially available,
non-developmental self-contained water purification and and packaging
unit/system. The requirements of the system are as follows: 1) The
system must be 100 percent mobile and easy to deploy, 2) The water
purification process must destroy all known bacteria and virus, 3) The
system must be E.P.A. approved, 4) The system must provide an
economical alternative to reverse osmosis systems, 5) The system must
be simple to operate and have low maintenance costs. THE CORPS OF
ENGINEERS DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR INFORMATION SOLICTED. No
further written request for information will be provided in addition to
