DAAA09-99-R-2023 Amendment 0001 A. The purpose of this amendment is to address the following vendor submitted questions: Question 1: Specs ask for IAW ASTM C-332 GRP 1 or ASTM C516, super fine -- two different types of vermiculite with different applications, please clarify. We are told C332 used primarily for concrete insulation and is a coarse product. Answer: The Spec for the vermiculite is ASTM-C-516, Super Fine. Please Note: Wherever Solicitation reads "in accordance with ASTM-C-332, Group 1 or ASTM-C-516 Type 1, super fine" substitute "in accordance with ASTM-C-516, super fine". Question 2: Does 3 day delivery time mean 3 business days. Thus far all vendors cannot guarantee 3 days, will certify 3-5 days. Answer: 3 day delivery means 3 business days for delivery. Question 3: All vendors reporting vermiculite bags weigh between 24-26 lbs, specs asking for approximately 29 lbs. Will end user accept 24-26 lb bags? Answer: The weight of each bag shall be in accordance with ASTM-C-516 "unless otherwise specified, the insulation shall be packaged in the manufacturer's standard commercial container" Please Note: Wherever Solicitation reads "to be delivered bagged approximately 29 pounds per bag" substitute "The weight of each bag shall be in accordance with ASTM-C-516, -- the insulation shall be packaged in the manufacturer's standard commercial container."
