The U.S. Special Operations Command intends to issue a solicitation USZA95-99-R-0023 and subsequent Contract (type to be determined) for aircraft operators /maintenance manual addendum to the current manuals for the MH-47D, MH-60L, and A/MH-6 aircraft to Dynamic Research Company (DRC). Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable to this acquisition is 7379. The size standard is $12.5.The initial period of performance is 1 Apr 99 through 30 September 1999 with options for up to 4 years. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended source is Dynamic Research Company (DRC), 500 Northwest Plaza, Suite 1003, St. Ann, MO 63074. DRC. is the intended source possess requisite engineering expertise and technical data to develop the aforementioned manual updates in a timely manner. Interested persons may identify themselves to the contracting officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
