Bids shall include: Unit cost per cubic yard for dredging, inclusive of equipment, pipelines (about 7,000 feet, labor and materials; Lump sum for Mobilization/Demobilization; Daily rate for standby time to include all equipment, labor, and materials. Project will include dredging specific areas within Moss Landing Harbor to include berthing areas, slips and channels, with disposal at either the ocean site (SF12) or the Upland Rehandling Site, or both. The total quantity to be dredged is a minimum of 100,000 cubic yards and may exceed 200,000 cubic yards. Due to the limited capacity of the Upland Rehandling Site, substantial standby time may be incurred. This bid is subject to Davis Bacon Act and California Labor Code Sections 1770 and 1773. Bids will be received up to 5:00 pm, March 15, 1999 at the offices of Moss Landing Harbor District, PO Box 10, 7881 Sandholdt Road, Moss Landing, CA 95039, at which time and place all bids will be received, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall cover all works specified in the Plans and Specifications. Notice of award will be issued within 45 days of bid opening. Bids shall remain valid for 45 days after the bid opening date. Moss Landing Harbor District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive the informality in bids received. Any bid received after the time and date specified for bid opening shall not be considered.
