The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of fifty (50) Containers, NSN 6KH8145-01-422-8692YM, Part Number (05259)560E001. Under authority of FAR 6.302, FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Container Research Corporation (CRC) of Glen Riddle, PA. CRC is the only known source possessing the detailed manufacturing and technical data which can meet the Navy's requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, information received within forty-five (45) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government . Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information received.
