95 -- AERMET 100 ALLOY IN BAR STOCK FORM SOL N6883699R0012 DUE 030299 POC Tom Graebner, Code ACL.TG, (904)542-1284, fax (904)542-1098 In accordance with TEI F14-0176-98, the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida, intends to solicit, negotiate and acquire commercially available AerMet 100 alloy (AMS 6532) in bar stock form on a sole source basis from Carpenter Technology Corporation, 5355 Morse Drive, Decatur, Georgia, 30035. Carpenter Technology Corporation holds all patent and proprietary rights for AerMet 100 alloy. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals that clearly demonstrate the ability to meet the needs of the Government which are received by the closing response date for receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
