We are soliciting in-kind donations for the Base Championships Golf Tournament at Elmendorf Air Force Base (AFB) the 6th, 7th, & 8th of August 1999. This event is open to all active duty personnel assigned to Elmendorf. We average approximately 32,000 rounds of golf per season, with approximately 150 tournaments throughout. We are seeking sponsorship/donations in the following forms. Door prizes such as airline tickets, trips, outings, fishing excursions,etc. Services from local businesses, gift certificates, golf bags, golf equipment, as well as cash donations. We are seeking hole-in-one sponsors, tee prize gifts: golf balls, tees, towels, divot repair tools, etc. We are seeking beverage donations for approximately 60 participants. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. Representation from the sponsor would be accepted and encouraged. Sponsors may set up boothes at the event and display banners. We would accept all or part sponsorship/donation for this event. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsorship/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests foir copies of this solicitation may be accepted no later than 23 July 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government.
